The FLIR FX is not your typical home monitoring camera, especially when it comes to monitoring at night. The FX sees up to 33 feet in the dark. This feature will not only help in the home but will add additional detail and clarity to low light scenes when being used as an action or dashboard camera at night.
Enhanced security monitoring with HDR
Your FLIR FX uses an automatic HDR (High Dynamic Range) video function that works to ensure you capture the most important details, regardless of lighting conditions. Dynamic range is measured as the difference between the brightest point and the darkest point of the video. HDR technology uses this difference to automatically adjust the brightness in these areas, resulting in optimized, highly-detailed video.
Ultra wide field of view lets you see more
See the whole scene, rather than just a section of it. The FX's 155° ultra wide field of view will provide you with more video coverage. This can be especially useful when using the camera as a dashboard camera.
Real-Time 2-Way Talk
The FX's built-in speaker and microphone allows for crystal-clear two-way communication. Use your phone or tablet, and speak with anyone at the other end of the camera. Audio recording also adds another dimension to your action video.
